32 Excellent 2011 Album Covers

It's been a full year since I've updated this weblog. This is mostly because I've spent a lot more time on Facebook during 2011; I also tend to post quick images and videos to my Tumblr account. Oh, and also, I've just been too lazy to write, and any energy I've had to do so has been spent on my freelance projects. Maybe I'll post a standard blog entry of sorts soon, just as an update of what happened in my life in 2011. Also very soon, I'll give information about some upcoming nonfiction music-related books that I've been editing, a project I'm really excited about. In the meantime....

Every December or January I make lists of my favorite albums, movies, and books of the past year. I've slowly been trying to do that again, but as usual, I'm realizing just how difficult that can be, and just how many things from the year I have yet to hear, see, or read. In the meantime, though: here's a list of 32 of my favorite covers/sleeves of albums that were released during these past 12 months. As is usually the case, I'm probably forgetting some; however, these were 32 that really rocked my eyeballs. In no particular order:
