I'm extremely excited about the book and will be picking it up tomorrow. I've already begun reading via the Harper Collins site and love it so far. Scott, you so expertly capture (unlike many others, particularly screen writers, who choose to set their work in Kansas yet seem to have no clue as to the lay of the land) the isolation and loneliness that can be found in the modern plains. Growing up on a Kansas farm, I can vouch for the authenticity of your work, and while I can't say it makes me want to return to Kansas, it brings back plenty of memories, both good and bad. Can't wait to delve further into the book!
