Hey, look what I got in the mail yesterday... "hot off the press," a month before the bookstores'll have it. This moment is always pretty darn exciting.

hey Vjesci... Unfortunately I have no clue about the cover. As much as I dislike "stock images," I'm pretty sure that's what was used for the cover in this case. I do like it, though, and wherever the location was, it certainly does look a lot like the Kansas setting of the novel...

.my aside: do you read any manga I wonder.most of it is shite just like anime.but there are gems.oh yes there are.this one and the two live action films it spawned that I saw recently are magnificent:

I suggest we all take photos of us when we buy or receive our own copy. And post the photos somewhere. I will be pretty damn excited!

Vjesci, I wish it were that glamorous. Truth be told, when I was in NYC a few weeks back, I slammed my finger in the door at my friends' Jon & Sean's place, and I still have an ugly little black bruise on the fingernail....

.this gives me an idea for a contest|campaign of some kind.have people on your social networking sites capture themselves in an image holding your book...but have them 'disappear' (perhaps fingers are fine but no face or logo or any thing) so only the book is clearly visible.
.not sure where this is going just yet.just a thought.
