Creepy, pt. 3: Puppets
Seriously-- for me, certain puppets qualify as profound, extreme horror, rocking me to the marrow of my bones. In the clips below, #1 disturbs me the most-- I can't even watch it-- and #2 scared the hell out of me when I saw it on TV when I was 11 or so.

From across the Atlantic Ocean (France) we haven't had the great chance to watch that Lady Elaine but similar puppets were haunting the programmes and I hated them too. Actually I still do !
Though, I don't have the sound, but I like nb7

I know I know I know. Lady Elaine. Good god. WHAT were they thinking? Did they really think kids wouldn't have nightmares? Is she supposed to be an old drunk soul-sucking vampiress? What's up with that nose anyway? And don't get me started on the "hair."

somehow number 5 strikes me as the most bizarre (maybe just because it's utterly unfamiliar). i just know that puppet is going to pull out a knife and stab the guy with the huge gap between his front teeth.
and i also remember being terrified by the commercials for the second one. yyyikes. wow, and i'd forgotten how creepy looking lady elaine was (# 9).
