Battles
I know this record has been out for a few months now, but I just want to report that it's currently making me more excited than almost anything else I've heard all year. Here's the fantastic video, which I've watched about 20 times nonstop tonight:

I've had a li'l schoolgirl crush on them since I first heard that song. I'd like to bear each and every one of those boys' babies.

They're excellent. I saw them live in June (lame camphone shot - http://www.flickr.com/photos/thechunk/623479932/). I'd pretty much listen to any band with John Stanier (original Helmet drummer). Check out EP C or the EP B/C combination if you like the new stuff.
