Hump

Wow, I'm sorry I haven't said a word in days. I'm stuck in some kind of summer doldrum. Give me a few more days to tumble out of it. In the meantime, here's a photo from last week, after our hike to the top of Camel's Hump mountain in Vermont, before the torrential rain battered us all the way back down. Pictured are (below) Maggie, Gladys, and Iris, and (above) Tom, Brian, Matt, Michael, Mike, me, and John.

Sometimes I'm convinced I have whatever the summer version of Seasonal Affective Disorder is. Instead of bright light therapy, maybe we need to spend an hour in a dark room (much like the internet cafe in Lublin, Poland from which I'm writing this, which is inexplicably completely dark, even though the place apparently stays open for another several hours ...).
