A bientôt

Off to Paris tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Dad. Happy birthday John Costango.

Not much time to post something; instead, since some of you have asked about the subject matter of We Disappear, here are six photographs that sort of convey, I think, the theme and atmosphere of the book.

You know John Costango? I knew him when he was at Dickinson College, but lost track of him sometime before he left Philly. Do you know how I might get in touch with him?

Yadda, yadda, great site and all that, great book, great movie. Read through a few of your posts and couldn't miss the place Magnet had on your top 25 list. He he, I live in Bergen you see (know his management), went to a consert with him...must have been a few months ago, at Loftet. He's great!

Okay, and then there was that post about the new Sigur Ros album; the third track really reminds me of Mysterious Skin, thought you should know (Why I have no idea, but my mind thinks I should tell you... :) ). Anything else? Yeah, hope you have a good time in Paris, don't get too drunk, I'm enjoying the Bergen International Film Festival (C.R.A.Z.Y., Brokeback Mountain...) while trying to keep on top of everything else, art, friends, education, reading, sleep...

Last but not least, check out a band called Major Parkinson if you have the time. They're also from Askøy (Magnet's native place) and I've seen them twice this month, they never dissapoint me. They have a website, if I'm not mistaken (just checked and no, I'm not).

If this is a strange post, it's just because I've already watched two movies, it's like not even 1 o'clock and I have two plays, one movie and a s--tload of work to do before this day is done. You gotta love life...

Wow. A picture really is worth 1000 words. Hard to believe, but I'm now actually even more interested in the novel.
