Fahrenheit 9/11... And the Terrorist Named George Bush

I went with a huge group of friends last night to Harvard Square for Boston's opening night of Michael Moore's film FAHRENHEIT 9/11.

Say what you will about Moore, but this film is supremely important and courageous. Sure, maybe certain things in it are exaggerated slightly, or Moore might be at fault for not including all the facts in some of his arguments.

But anyone who sees this movie and still thinks "President" Bush is honest and trustworthy and valuable as the president is just plain lamebrained.

I can't stand George W. Bush. Without a doubt, he's the worst president I've experienced in my lifetime. He's gotten away with self-serving lies and atrocities that are thousands of times worse than the silly sex scandal Bill Clinton endured.

But the only way we can get him out of office is to vote, and elect John Kerry. Not enough Democrats, or liberals, or "non-Republicans," actually get out there and vote, whereas the conservatives fly to the polls in droves. In the past, I've been guilty of not voting myself. But this year, we HAVE to vote to get him OUT OF THERE.

I want to apologize to anyone reading this who might not agree with me, but I can't. George W. Bush is just evil, and he has to be stopped. I'm urging everyone I know to see FAHRENHEIT 9/11, and I'm hoping it helps to reverse the direction things have been going for the past 3 1/2 years.

I shall now step down from the soapbox.... I'm in bed, it's 1 am, Michael's beside me, and I need to sleep so I can get up and write 8th grade textbook stories all day long.
